Notes on the Ermine Skate A100-K

“Following the success of our A100-L ‘lupine fade’ limited edition skate, I wanted to try mixing coatings to create new effects. The A100-K was created by combining a metallic glitter with flatter base coatings. The result was two skates with eye-catching colors that shimmered as the light moved over them. The teal version was more subtle, while the pink had a gold metallic that caused a hue shift.

The A100-K was named after the Kenai River, an iconic fishing destination in Southcentral Alaska. Kenai Pink was modeled after the sparkling, iridescent skin of the Kenai’s prized salmon, while Kenai Teal paid homage to the color of the river itself.”
